Paducah's proposed AI campus pairs 2GW of gas generation with up to 2.6GW of batteries

The U.S. Department of Energy, Brookfield and NextEra Energy describe a privately financed AI and high-performance computing campus on 785 acres of the former Paducah uranium-enrichment site. The public releases agree on the planned power assets, but not on the completion year or on how 1.8GW of campus capacity relates to more than 1.2GW of compute.
